May 26th is a big day for Lindy Hop. It is the birth anniversary of Frankie Manning, outstanding jazz and swing dancer, considered one of the creators and ambassador of Lindy Hop. We remember 2014 when we celebrated Frankie’s 100 anniversary here in New York City, one the largest swing dance events ever produced. May 26th has since then become recognized as World Lindy Hop Day!
