SW!NG OUT goes on tour.

After the restrictions of the pandemic lifted, the joy of dance and social engagements successfully blossomed for audiences in New York in the Fall of 2021. The show SW!NG OUT, featuring a ten piece big band and twelve Lindy Hoppers finally came to fruition after three years of pre-production. As a member of the “Brain Trust”, the creative team that brought the production of SW!NG OUT to completion, I was beyond grateful to finalize this life long dream.

Michael and I performed in the premiere of the show, first at the Northrop Performing Arts Center, part of the University of Minnesota, and then in the official opening for a two week run at the famous Joyce Theater in New York City. The show was a huge success with ticket sales, complimentary articles in the New York Times and a total win in the hearts of the New York Lindy Hop community.

Now the show is embarking on it’s first official tour in the United States! We have six cities scheduled to visit in 2022. These are confirmed performance dates but please check out the show’s website for updates on new performance venues coming soon.

George Mason University, in Fairfax, Virginia on Saturday March 19.

Miami-Dade Cultural Center, in Miami, Florida on Saturday March 26.

University Musical Society, in Ann Arbor, Michigan on April 1 & 2.

Society for the Performing Arts, in Houston, Texas on Saturday April 9.
